MTA Group Training Scheme
The MTA Group Training Scheme Inc (MTA-GTS) employs Apprentices/ Trainees in the Retail Motor Industry under Contracts of Training (Apprenticeships) and use "Host Employers".

The MTA-GTS commenced operation in September 1982 with a group of 10 Motor Mechanic apprentices.

Since the MTA-GTS started its operation in 1982, we have had hundreds of apprentices graduate to full time employment as skilled, qualified tradespeople.

We currently have more than 400 apprentices employed in various motor industry trades including Motor Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Panel Beaters, Vehicle Painters, Auto Electricians, Engine Reconditioners and Auto Parts Interpreters.

MTA-GTS is a Nationally Accredited Training Provider and we employ qualified Lecturers to train apprentices in the Motor/Diesel Mechanics, Panel Beating and Vehicle Painting vocations.

Training is conducted at the Motor Trade Association Training Centre, Frederick Road, Royal Park.
